A Robust Printed Circuit Hot‐Wire Sensor for High‐Temperature Thermal Conductivity Measurement in Chloride Molten Salt

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study introduces a printed circuit transient hot‐wire sensor for measuring the thermal conductivity of highly corrosive chloride molten salts up to 800°C. The alumina‐based design ensures structural integrity and chemical resistance in harsh environments.

Sentience in cephalopod molluscs: an updated assessment

open access: yesBiological Reviews, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page 1311-1333, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This article evaluates the evidence for sentience – the capacity to have feelings – in cephalopod molluscs: octopus, cuttlefish, squid, and nautilus. Our framework includes eight criteria, covering both whether the animal's nervous system could support sentience and whether their behaviour indicates sentience.

Convulsive‐Like Movements in Posterior Circulation Large Vessel Occlusion: Associations With Midbrain Injury and Poor Outcome

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2026.
Graphical abstract illustrating the association between convulsive‐like movements, midbrain injury, and unfavorable 90‐day functional outcome in posterior circulation large vessel occlusion (LVO). ABSTRACT Background and Purpose Convulsive‐like movements are an uncommon and frequently misinterpreted manifestation of posterior circulation stroke ...

The Memory Inflation Response Against Spread‐Defective CMV Requires Priming‐Independent CD4+ T Cell Help

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 56, Issue 6, June 2026.
Inducing memory inflation (MI) is a promising future vaccination strategy. We show that spread‐defective cytomegalovirus does not induce MI in the absence of CD4+ T cells. Support from CD4+ T cells can drive effector differentiation of MI cells, even late in the response, and contributes to long‐term response maintenance. ABSTRACT Memory inflation (MI)
