Relaying selection based multiple access relay channel
2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016Relay selection in case of fast cascade Rayleigh fading channels has been examined in multiple access relay channel structure which is one of the high spectral efficiency network coding applications. Error performance analysis of MARC system has been made for noncoherent binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) and it has been shown that the proposed ...

Incremental Relaying with Partial Relay Selection
IEICE Transactions on Communications, 2010We propose an incremental relaying protocol in conjunction with partial relay selection with the aim of making efficient use of the degrees of freedom of the channels as well as improving the performance of dual hop relaying with partial relay selection (DRPRS).

Relay selection in bidirectional relay communication
2007 IEEE 8th Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications, 2007We consider the problem of relay selection in a scenario with N relay nodes. A half-duplex relay node enables bidrectional communication between two nodes with a spectral efficient two phase protocol. In the first phase, both nodes transmit a message to a relay node, which decodes the messages and broadcasts a composition in the succeeding phase.

QoS Provisioning Relay Selection in Random Relay Networks
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2011In this paper, we propose an analytical framework for determining the outage probability of random and best relay selection schemes given a Poisson field of relay nodes and the presence of path loss and fading. For relay selection, relays geographically close to the source and destination are preferred to others.
