Off-equilibrium dynamics of the two-dimensional Coulomb glass
The dynamics of the 2D Coulomb glass model is investigated by kinetic Monte Carlo simulation. An exponential divergence of the relaxation time signals a zero-temperature freezing transition. At low temperatures the dynamics of the system is glassy.

Seeing Things As We Are. Emotional Intelligence and Clinical Legal Education
This paper considers the relevance of emotional intelligence for the cognitively dominated law school. I describe the crisis in the American legal profession and suggest how those problems are likely to be replicated in Australia.

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

The relevance of relevance in research
A new Swiss law requires that any research involving humans must aim to answer “a relevant research question”. This paper explains the relevance of the relevance criterion in research, analyses the Swiss and British guidelines on relevance, and ...

With this issue, Law and Contemporary Problems initiates a new practice of offering occasional mini-symposia on topics which deserve treatment, but may not fill an entire issue. The topics we have chosen certainly deserve treatment.

The NNR‐n series of oligomeric nanographenes delivers exceptional emission performance. This work shows that this performance is originated by their ladder‐type structure, which effectively deactivates low‐frequency vibronic modes. This deactivation neglects the main pathway for non‐emissive deactivation, even in the near‐infrared region. The potential

Power laws and stretched exponentials in a noisy finite-time-singularity model
We discuss the influence of white noise on a generic dynamical finite-time-singularity model for a single degree of freedom. We find that the noise effectively resolves the finite-time-singularity and replaces it by a first-passage-time or absorbing ...
