Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Dynamic avalanche and reliability of high voltage diodes

open access: yes, 2003
Diode failures are a limiting factor for the reliability of power circuits. One failure reason is dynamic avalanche, Dynamic avalanche can be distinguished in three degrees, and some designs are rugged up to the third degree.

Lower Bounds to the Reliabilities of Factor Score Estimators [PDF]

open access: yesPsychometrika, 2017
Under the general common factor model, the reliabilities of factor score estimators might be of more interest than the reliability of the total score (the unweighted sum of item scores). In this paper, lower bounds to the reliabilities of Thurstone’s factor score estimators, Bartlett’s factor score estimators, and McDonald’s factor score estimators are

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Safety factor probabilistic design of composite structures based on reliability

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao
Deterministic safety factor design is difficult to adapt to the characteristics of composite structures with many uncertainty factors and concurrent multiple failure modes, and the design results cannot quantitatively describe the level of risk.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Effect of IC layout on the reliability of CMOS amplifiers

open access: yes, 2011
With shrinking device size and increasing circuit complexity, interconnect reliability has become the main factor that affects the integrated circuit (IC) reliability.

The Reliability Factor: Modeling individual reliability with multiple items from a single assessment

open access: yes, 2021
Reliability is a crucial concept in psychometrics. Although it is typically estimated as a single fixed quantity, previous work suggests that reliability can vary across persons, groups, and covariates.
