The Reliability of Density Measurements
Urban Affairs Quarterly, 1978Data from a land-use study of small and medium-sized towns in New Zealand are drawn on to ascertain the relationship between official and effective density measures. It was found that the reliability of official measures of density is very low overall, although reliability rises as a function of community sizes.
