International Organization, 1948The European Central Inland Transport Organization, which had been created on September 27, 1945, as a temporary reconstruction organization, was dissolved following its ninth council session on September 29, 1947. In accordance with previous agreement its functions were assumed by a committee created by the Economic Commission for Europe.

Photoinduced surface reliefs in an organic azo-glass
SPIE Proceedings, 2003The formation of holographic gratings in an azo-glass is investigated for the simple case of an intensity grating in the s-polarization of the recording beams. A dual grating is formed as a function of time with a refractive index grating and a relief grating.
