Food Tastes in the United States: Convergence or Divergence?
ABSTRACT This study investigates how food consumption tastes have changed in recent decades across the United States. Using NielsenIQ data for over 77 million transactions, there is evidence of divergence in food tastes across regions from 2007 to 2016 and across households of different income, education, and race/ethnicity groups.

Estimating the influence of religion on innovation is challenging because of both complexness and endogeneity. In order to untangle these issues, we use several measures of religiosity, adopt an individual-level approach to innovation and employ the instrumental variables method.

This study presents a soft pneumatic pressure regulation system that uses self‐excited hose oscillations to convert constant pressure (90–150 kPa) into rhythmic output. Simulations and experiments demonstrate tunable oscillation frequencies (5.9–11.1 Hz) through adjustments in pressure, hose length, and jet hole diameter.
