Comparative Analysis of DITC Based Switched Reluctance Motor Using Asymmetric Converter and Four-Level Converter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
High torque ripple is the main draw of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) compared to other conventional motor. Torque ripples can be minimized by Direct Instantaneous Torque Control (DITC) technique.

Life‐Threatening Bradycardia in Anti‐NMDA‐Receptor Encephalitis and a Novel Use for Permanent Pacing

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric anti‐NMDA receptor encephalitis (pNMDARE) is an autoantibody‐mediated disorder that can cause severe autonomic dysfunction, including symptomatic bradycardia and asystole. Dysautonomia can last for years, making it very challenging to manage.

Synchronous Reluctance Motor vs. Induction Motor at Low-Power Industrial Applications: Design and Comparison

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Although three-phase induction motors are the most common motor type in industry, a growing interest has arisen in emerging electric motor technologies like synchronous reluctance motors and permanent magnet motors.

Adult‐Onset Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis Presenting With Subacute Cognitive Deficits

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We describe the case of a 41‐year‐old man diagnosed with adult‐onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). The patient presented with subacute progressive cognitive deficits and a neuropsychological profile indicating predominant frontoparietal dysfunction. MRI showed only mild parietal‐predominant cerebral atrophy.

Study of electromagnetic interference suppression method for switched reluctance motor

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2013
The paper took speed regulation system of switched reluctance motor with 8/6 structure as object of study, analyzed influence of state of switched reluctance motor on H-bridge chopper switch under condition that rotate speed is closed loop, and gave ...

Fractional Integral-Differentiating Control in Speed Loop of Switched Reluctance Motor [PDF]

open access: yesProblems of the Regional Energetics, 2019
This paper deals with the feedback speed control of a switched reluctance motor using the fractional-order controller. Due to the polar-pole construction and pulsed power windings, at which saturation of the magnetic system occurs, standard PI or PID ...

Chaoization of switched reluctance motor drives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper presents a new technique for the chaoiztion of switched reluctance motor (SRM) drivers. Based on the chaotic modeling of SRM drives, effects of feedback controller gains on the stability of the rotor speed are investigated.

Applying an Ethical Lens to the Treatment of People With Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The practice of neurology requires an understanding of clinical ethics for decision‐making. In multiple sclerosis (MS) care, there are a wide range of ethical considerations that may arise. These involve shared decision‐making around selection of a disease‐modifying therapy (DMT), risks and benefits of well‐studied medications in comparison to

Optimal design of linear switched reluctance motor for sea wave power generation

open access: yesGlobal Energy Interconnection, 2022
The switchless reluctance motor’s non-permanent magnet structure design ensures its high reliability in the marine environment; thus, it is a feasible solution for the generator of a sea wave power generation system.
