Female Remating Behavior in a Lekking Moth

Ethology, 2014

Remating in a planktonic marine calanoid copepod

Marine Biology, 1971
The knowledge that the initial mating in planktonic copepods may be inadequate to permit realization of a female's total reproductive potential, and that remating can occur, has important implications for both population dynamics and speciation studies.

Sex-specific selection on time to remate inDrosophila melanogaster

Animal Behaviour, 1998
Female Drosophila melanogaster were artificially selected for fast and slow time to remate (denoted 'high' and 'low' selection regimes, respectively). Both selection regimes and a control were replicated three times. Correlated responses to selection in females and in males were measured.
