The impact of nanotechnology on textile coloration—A mini‐review
Abstract Coloration is a key feature in the textile industry that adds value to the final apparels. This coloration of textile products is done by conventional methods which involve huge amounts of water pollution and wastages of textile colourants. Several approaches have been taken to eliminate these issues by advanced dyeing methods, however, due to

Effect of chromophore type on efficiency of reactive dye removal using polyamidoamine dendrimer
Abstract In this study, by selecting a sample of dyes from a wide variety of chromophores used in the production of reactive dyes (monoazo, bisazo, metal azo, phthalocyanine, anthraquinone, copper formazan and triphendioxazine), the colour removal performance of polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimer in reactive dyes was statistically evaluated depending on ...

This work produced three different biospheres to adsorb textile dyes. The biospheres were composed of cross‐linked alginate (SAB) and could include either activated carbon (SAAC) or microalgae (SAM) in their matrix. SAB was the most efficient and cost‐effective since all its interaction sites were free.
