Papulonecrotic tuberculid with spontaneous remission
The Journal of Dermatology, 2006ABSTRACTWe describe a 62‐year‐old Japanese woman who had skin lesions involving her extremities, chest and back that showed spontaneous remission. The skin lesions consisted of slightly atrophic scars and crusted, reddish or necrotic papules. A tuberculin test showed induration and bulla, which was regarded as strongly positivity.

This patient was unusual because during a 3‐year period of splenomegaly and leukopenia she did not develop repeated infections, leg ulcers, or other complications of Felty' syndrome. Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association, 1996A two-year-old, male domestic shorthair with a solitary lesion of the right forelimb was presented for fine-needle aspiration biopsy of a suspected cutaneous, neoplastic process. Neutrophils, lymphocytes, and acid-fast bacilli packed in the cytoplasm of foamy macrophages and giant cells were seen on cytological examination.
