Mid‐ to long‐term outcomes of capsular management in hip arthroscopy for FAIS: A multilevel meta‐analysis

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, Volume 34, Issue 2, Page 666-683, February 2026.
Abstract Purpose To compare mid‐ to long‐term outcomes of the three major capsular management strategies—capsule preserved (CP), capsule repaired (CR) and capsule unrepaired (CU)—following hip arthroscopy (HAS) for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS).

A Meta‐Analysis on Stereotype Threat and Consumer‐Related Outcomes: Reconciling Evidence by Advancing Theory

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, Volume 43, Issue 2, Page 468-482, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This meta‐analysis examines whether stereotype threat (ST) influences consumer‐related outcomes—domains traditionally excluded from performance‐based ST research. Drawing on 247 effects from 83 experimental studies (N = 11,683), we found a marginal to small overall effect when comparing ST conditions to control groups.

Semi‐Quantitative Detection of Respiratory Pathogens: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of Results From the BIOFIRE FILMARRAY Pneumonia Panel and Culture

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 1, February 2026.
The BIOFIRE FILMARRAY pneumonia panel reports semi‐quantitative bacterial loads typically higher than culture, with discrepancies concentrated at low loads, but shows 94% concordance for the predominant pathogen. Findings support PCR‐specific thresholds for interpretation.

ISME—incoherent sampling of multi‐echo data to minimize cardiac‐induced noise in brain maps of R2*$$ {R}_2^{\ast } $$ and magnetic susceptibility

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 2, Page 897-911, February 2026.
Abstract Purpose Maps of the MRI parameters R2*$$ {\mathrm{R}}_2^{\ast } $$ and magnetic susceptibility (χ$$ \chi $$) enable the investigation of microscopic tissue changes in brain disease. However, cardiac‐induced signal instabilities increase the variability of brain maps of R2*$$ {\mathrm{R}}_2^{\ast } $$ and χ$$ \chi $$.

The Relationship Between Depression and Coping Insight Dimensions in the Transition to Motherhood

open access: yesStress and Health, Volume 42, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The transition to motherhood is a period of psychological vulnerability but also offers important opportunities to refine and strengthen resilience capacities that support long‐term mental health. The Systematic Self‐Reflection Model of Resilience Strengthening proposes dynamic, reciprocal relationships between self‐reflection, coping insight,

Self‐Soothing Touch Reduces Momentary Stress, Fatigue, and Loneliness Comparable to Brief Meditation: A Randomised Controlled Trial

open access: yesStress and Health, Volume 42, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Chronic stress has well‐documented adverse effects on physical and psychological health. Beyond contributing to the development of fatigue, its impact is intensified by social stressors such as loneliness, making the development of effective interventions crucial.
