Deformation properties of remolded loess compacted via vertical vibration compaction method
To investigate the deformation properties of remolded loess subgrade under long-term cyclic dynamic loading, remolded loess specimens compacted via vertical vibration compaction method were produced and some factors influencing elastic strain and ...

Mechanical properties of saturated remolded loess under different stress paths
The mechanical properties of soil often vary with stress state and stress paths. In order to investigate the mechanical properties of saturated soil under vertical loading and constant shear stress path, saturated remolded loess samples are prepared ...

A modified elastoplastic damage structural constitutive model of unsaturated Q3 undisturbed loess [PDF]
The weakening of loess structure under hydro-mechanical effect is an important reason for collapsible deformation of loess. Therefore, when establishing the constitutive model of unsaturated loess, it is necessary to consider the influence of loess ...

Effect of freezing-thawing cycles on mechanical properties and microscopic mechanisms of loess
Qinghai is located in a permafrost region, which belongs to the continental climate zone of the the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. At the same time, freezing-thawing cycles are common destructive factors for roadbeds and foundations.

Segmental Modification of the Mualem Model by Remolded Loess [PDF]
The measured diffusion coefficient and soil‐water characteristic curve (SWCC) of remolded loess were used to modify the Mualem model for increasing its accuracy. The obtained results show that the goodness of fit between the Mualem model and the variable parameter‐modified Mualem method comparing with the test results was not high.
