Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

ABSTRACT Introduction Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) is a neurodegenerative ‘tauopathy’ with predominating pathology in the basal ganglia and midbrain. Caudal tau spread frequently implicates the cerebellum; however, the pattern of atrophy remains equivocal.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles

A Survey of the Evolution of Remote Sensing Imaging Systems and Urban Remote Sensing Applications [PDF]
The increasingly diverse nature of sensor systems and imagery products, as well as their commercial availability, have led to a broad set of applications resulting in rich, interdisciplinary topics that come under the umbrella of urban remote sensing. This chapter reviews the development of remote sensing systems, their contribution to the emergence of

Evidence of Iron Accumulation in Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy: A Potential Novel Disease Mechanism
ABSTRACT In this first application of Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping Source Separation to cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy, we uncovered alterations in iron and myelin within lesions and normal appearing white matter. As validation, we demonstrate abnormal iron accumulation in those same compartments within primary brain tissue.

Iterative Random Training Sampling Spectral Spatial Classification for Hyperspectral Images
Hyperspectral image classification (HSIC) has generated considerable interests over the past years. However, one of challenging issues arising in HSIC is inconsistent classification, which is mainly caused by random training sampling (RTS) of selecting ...
