Texture Features in Remote Sensing Imagery
1981The remote-sensing main automatic approach is nowadays based on pixel radiometry and so necessarily incomplete as it takes no account of its environment. Our aim is to improve the real efficiency of spatial information (texture), the principle being that information derived from one pixel should be regarded as a “spectral-spatial” information pair.

Material segmentation of remote sensing imagery
Low-resolution remote sensing data makes it difficult to discern the composition of individual pixels, especially when isolated from their surroundings. This issue is accentuated by the limited and costly process of annotating this data, and high-resolution data is either publicly restricted, requires a significant time investment to provide meaning toopenaire +1 more source
