Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

HYPERSPECTRAL TRANSFORMATION FROM EO-1 ALI IMAGERY USING PSEUDO-HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGE SYNTHESIS ALGORITHM [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2016
Hyperspectral remote sensing is more effective than multispectral remote sensing in many application fields because of having hundreds of observation bands with high spectral resolution.

LARGE SCALE URBAN RECONSTRUCTION FROM REMOTE SENSING IMAGERY [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2013
Abstract. Automatic large-scale stereo reconstruction of urban areas is increasingly becoming a vital aspect for physical simulations as well as for rapid prototyping large scale 3D city models. In this paper we describe an easily reproducible workflow for obtaining an accurate and textured 3D model of the scene, with overlapping aerial images as input.

Enhancing Direct Solar Water Splitting via ALD of Multifunctional TiO2/Pt Nanoparticle Coatings With Engineered Interfaces to GaAs/GaInP Tandem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multifunctional atomic layer deposited coatings and interface treatments enhance direct solar water splitting on GaAs/GaInP tandem cells. Optimized TiO2/Pt nanoparticle bilayers ensure durability and catalytic efficiency with minimal optical losses, while H2 plasma pretreatments maximize photovoltage and interfacial charge extraction.

Multilevel Cloud Detection for High-Resolution Remote Sensing Imagery Using Multiple Convolutional Neural Networks

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2018
In high-resolution image data, multilevel cloud detection is a key task for remote sensing data processing. Generally, it is difficult to obtain high accuracy for multilevel cloud detection when using satellite imagery which only contains visible and ...

Remote Sensing via Satellite Imagery Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Healthy green vegetation absorbs red and blue light wavelengths preferentially for use in photosynthesis. Green light (wavelength 545–565 nm), however, is mostly reflected leading to the green appearance of living biomass. This characteristic coincides with interactions outside the visible portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

Multicolor Optoelectronic Synapse Enabled by Photon‐Modulated Remote Doping in Solution‐Processed Van Der Waals Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multicolor optoelectronic synapses are realized by vertically integrating solution‐processed MoS2 thin‐film and SWCNT. The electronically disconnected but interactive MoS2 enables photon‐modulated remote doping, producing a bi‐directional photoresponse.
