Solution‐Processed Thin‐Film Transistors With Tunable Temporal Dynamics for Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solution‐processed CNT and CNT/P3HT ion‐gated transistors exhibit materials‐defined synaptic timescales: fast CNT devices for high‐frequency spiking and slow hybrid devices for temporal integration. Embedding these dynamics into coupled reservoir‐computing and spiking neural network simulations reveals that a Hybrid‐Reservoir / CNT‐SNN architecture ...

Accurate Conversion of Land Surface Reflectance for Drone-Based Multispectral Remote Sensing Images Using a Solar Radiation Component Separation Approach

open access: yesSensors
Land surface reflectance is a basic physical parameter in many quantitative remote sensing models. However, the existing reflectance conversion techniques for drone-based (or UAV-based) remote sensing need further improvement and optimization due to ...

Designing Stable Periodic Magnetization Textures by Tailoring Anisotropies and Applying Geometrical Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the possibility to design stable periodic magnetization textures by transforming a 2D film into a rolled‐up 3D architecture and back. In case of an isotropic exchange‐biased layer architecture, the magnetization encoded in the 3D state evolves into a spin‐spiral pattern with controlled periodicity after unrolling.

Validating chlorophyll-a concentrations in the Lagos Lagoon using remote sensing extraction and laboratory fluorometric methods

open access: yesMethodsX, 2018
Remote sensing data is a viable alternative for mapping pigment concentrations in water body, and consequently, the trophic. Chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) is present in all phytoplankton species.

Soft Neural Interfaces for Circuit‐Level Analysis of Magnetogenetic Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson's Disease Models

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Magnetogenetic deep brain stimulation (MG‐DBS) represents a wireless neuromodulation that has demonstrated long‐lasting behavioral benefits in Parkinson's disease models. However, the circuit‐level mechanisms underlying these therapeutic effects have remained uncharacterized due to limitations of conventional neural interfaces.

Extracellular Vesicles Modulation by an Adiponectin Receptor Agonist Provides Cardioprotection for Myocardial Ischemic Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that ALY688, a drug mimicking the heart‐protective hormone adiponectin, reduces myocardial ischemia injury. ALY688 increases the production of extracellular vesicles, which carry protective cargo including adiponectin itself.
