Quality of Life of Patients with Renal Calculi: An Observational Research
Kidney stones are responsible for about 3.66 million medical consults each year with treatment costing about $2 billion annually in medical bills. The main objective of the study was to analyze the quality of life of patients by existing renal calculi ...

TRMT6‐mediated m1A modification in CDK9 mRNA enhances its mRNA stability and translation efficiency, thereby increasing the protein levels of CDK9. Upregulated CDK9 promotes the progression of HCC by elevating the levels of oncogenic factors including p‐STAT3, MCL1, and BCL‐2. On the other hand, CDK9 phosphorylates TARDBP at Ser254 to activate HBV core

RESULTS OF SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR CALCULI IN SOLITARY KIDNEY OR STAGHORN CALCULI IN BILATERAL KIDNEY [PDF]
Operations for renal calculi performed during a 15-year period in Osaka University Hospital have been reviewed. The patients with staghorn calculi in both kidneys or in the solitary kidney were treated operatively despite poor surgical risks and the ...

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Canagliflozin treatment reshapes the gut microbiota in DKD and elevates levels of melibiose, a metabolite derived from Roseburia intestinalis. Melibiose directly binds to and enhances the enzymatic activity of glyoxalase 1, leading to decreased methylglyoxal accumulation.

Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

RENAL CELL CARCINOMA ASSOCIATED WITH RENAL CALCULI : REPORT OF A CASE [PDF]
A 50•year-old man was seen with gross hematuria and the urinary retention. X-ray showed gross stone in the right kidney. Nephrectomy was done, and the specimen was that of typical renal cell carcinoma occupying the upper and middle thirds.

Combating VEGFA‐siRNA‐Induced Metabolic Reprogramming via Glucose Utilization Deprivation
An ionizable lipid nanoparticle co‐delivers VEGFA siRNA and glucose oxidase to tumors to counteract VEGFA knockdown‐induced, glutamine‐driven metabolic compensation. Enzymatic glucose consumption reverses the adaptive pathways and restores metabolism toward baseline, thereby sensitizing tumors to therapy.
