Renewable energy policies in Turkey
Achieving solutions to environmental problems that we face todayrequires long-term potential actions for sustainable development. In thisregard, renewable energy resources appear to be the one of most efficientand effective solutions. Although, Turkey has substantial reserves of re-newable energy resources, actual utilization of these resources is ...

Exploring the Efficiency of Renewable Energy-based Modular Data Centers at Scale [PDF]
Modular data centers (MDCs) that can be placed right at the energy farms and powered mostly by renewable energy, are proven to be a flexible and effective approach to lowering the carbon footprint of data centers. However, the main challenge of using renewable energy is the high variability of power produced, which implies large volatility in powering ...

The use of ferroelectric polarization to enhance photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic activity is an innovative, and increasingly studied route to improve the spatial separation of charge carriers and therefore enhance catalytic efficiency. These results demonstrate how the intrinsic properties of a ferroelectric film can extend charge carrier ...

Enhanced Renewable Energy Forecasting and Operations through Probabilistic Forecast Aggregation [PDF]
Accurate and reliable forecasting of renewable energy generation is crucial for the efficient integration of renewable sources into the power grid. In particular, probabilistic forecasts are becoming essential for managing the intrinsic variability and uncertainty of renewable energy production, especially wind and solar generation.

In this paper, a built‐in electric field (BEF) strategy is proposed to fabricate NiFe‐LDH/antimonene heterostructure as bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The formed BEF generates a local potential that reduces the potential for the formation of β‐NiOOH, thereby enabling ultra‐low ...

Optimizing hydrogen and e-methanol production through Power-to-X integration in biogas plants [PDF]
The European Union strategy for net zero emissions relies on developing hydrogen and electro fuels infrastructure. These fuels will be crucial as energy carriers and balancing agents for renewable energy variability. Large scale production requires more renewable capacity, and various Power to X (PtX) concepts are emerging in renewable rich countries ...
