Geographical dispersion of reniform nematode in Louisiana
Reniform nematode was found to have a high incidence of occurrence in central and northeast Louisiana. This nematode was shown to be spreading in a number of parishes based on changes in the percent occurrence over time.

Upland cotton (\u3ci\u3eGossypium hirsitum\u3c/i\u3e) root responses to reniform nematode (\u3ci\u3eRotylenchulus reniformis\u3c/i\u3e) infection [PDF]
Reniform nematode (Rotylenchulus reniformis) is a semi-endoparasitic nematode that causes yield losses in numerous crops, including upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum).

Reproduction of the reniform nematode on thirty soybean cultivars.
In greenhouse experiments conducted in 1991 and 1992, the 30 soybean (Glycine max) cultivars most commonly grown in Arkansas in 1990 were tested for resistance to the reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis. 'Forrest' was the most resistant cultivar, whereas 'Braxton' was the most susceptible to R. reniformis.

Nematode survival in relation to soil moisture
Established nematode populations are very persistent in the soil. It is known that they need sufficient soil moisture for movement, feeding and reproduction (fig. 5), and that there are adverse soil moisture conditions which they cannot survive.

Background: The root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood and reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis (Linford and Oliveiro) have been found consistently associated with plant damage and reduced yield of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), important pulse (grain legume) crop of India. Methods: Seeds of chickpea were soaked in

FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF A GLUTATHIONE S-TRANSFERASE GENE FROM RENIFORM NEMATODE ON SOYBEAN
Nematode glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) have been implicated in plant-nematode interactions as effector proteins with an important role in the establishment of feeding sites.

Integrated Management of Plant Parasitic Nematodes Infecting Tomato Plants by Biological and Chemical Applications [PDF]
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is a globally important vegetable crop, but its production is severely affected by root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita) and reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis which causes significant yield losses ...

Breeding commercially adoptable cotton resistant to reniform nematode
Context The reniform nematode has become a major constraint in central Queensland cotton regions. This prompts a need to develop resistant cotton to control its ongoing impact and spread. Aims This study aimed to examine the ...
