The impact of out‐of‐plane symmetry breaking in semiconductor metasurfaces on bound states in the continuum (BICs) with vertical dipole‐like character is theoretically investigated. By tilting/inclining the meta‐atoms–thus effectively rotating the dipolar resonances–a so‐called cloaked quasi‐BIC is excited at a specific angle of incidence ...

An Application of Diagrammatic Renormalization to $2^{++}$ Tensor Di-Gluonium [PDF]
We apply the diagrammatic renormalization method to the NLO analysis of the $2^{++}$ tensor di-gluonium channel within the QCD sum-rules approach. Diagrammatic renormalization eliminates non-local divergences directly, avoiding the construction of renormalization factors and complications arising from operator mixing in the conventional renormalization

The One‐Dimensional Coulomb Hamiltonian: Properties of Its Birman–Schwinger Operator
ABSTRACT The objective of the present paper is to study in detail the properties of the Birman–Schwinger operator for a self‐adjoint realization of the one‐dimensional Hamiltonian with the Coulomb potential, both when the Hamiltonian is defined only on ℝ+$$ {\mathbb{R}}_{+} $$ and when it is defined on the whole real line.

ABSTRACT We have studied possible applications of a particular pseudodifferential algebra in singular analysis for the construction of fundamental solutions and Green's functions of a certain class of elliptic partial differential operators. The pseudodifferential algebra considered in the present work, comprises degenerate partial differential ...

Small elongated MLC fields: Novel equivalent square field formula and output factors
Abstract Purpose This study evaluates different approaches for estimating the equivalent square field size (ESF) to derive the Output Correction Factors (OCF) according to the IAEA TRS‐483 protocol, for small fields, focusing on rectangular fields generated by MLCs.
