Enhanced Lattice Coherences and Improved Structural Stability in Quadruple A‐Site Substituted Lead Bromide Perovskites

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study explores a novel perovskite composition, (4cat)PbBr3, which combines four A‐site cations to improve stability and optoelectronic properties. Compared to MAPbBr3, this new composition shows better structural order, higher photoluminescence, and better electron mobility.

Correlating Grain Boundary Character and Composition in 3‐Dimensions Using 4D‐Scanning Precession Electron Diffraction and Atom Probe Tomography

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
A 3D correlative approach combining 4D scanning precession electron diffraction tomography and atom probe tomography on the same specimen unlocks the structure and chemistry of grain boundary networks in nanocrystalline materials. This approach enables to determination of local crystallographic parameters for any nonplanar general type of interface ...

TXM‐Pal: a companion software for advanced data processing in spectroscopic X‐ray microscopy

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, EarlyView.
Advanced software for X‐ray spectroscopy imaging has been developed, enabling precise and rapid XANES imaging analysis. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated by mapping the Ni oxidation states in lithium‐ion battery cathodes, thereby revealing their heterogeneity.Transmission X‐ray microscopy (TXM) is a powerful and non‐destructive tool for ...

A unified multi‐scale method for simulating immersed bubbles

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We introduce a novel unified mixture‐based method for simulating underwater bubbles across a range of bubble scales. Our approach represents bubbles as a set of Lagrangian particles that are coupled with the surrounding Eulerian water volume. When bubble particles are sparsely distributed, each particle, typically smaller than the liquid grid ...
