Implicit Regularization and Renormalization of QCD [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Theoretical Physics, 2006
We apply the Implicit Regularization Technique (IR) in a non-abelian gauge theory. We show that IR preserves gauge symmetry as encoded in relations between the renormalizations constants required by the Slavnov-Taylor identities at the one loop level of QCD.

Higher logarithms and ε-poles for the MS-like renormalization prescriptions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We consider a version of dimensional regularization (reduction) in which the dimensionful regularization parameter Λ is in general different from the renormalization scale μ.

Leading all-loop quantum contribution to the effective potential in general scalar field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The RG equation for the effective potential in the leading log (LL) approximation is constructed which is valid for an arbitrary scalar field theory in 4 dimensions.

Towards general scalar-Yukawa renormalisation group equations at three-loop order

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
For arbitrary four-dimensional quantum field theories with scalars and fermions, renormalisation group equations in the MS ¯ $$ \overline{\mathrm{MS}} $$ scheme are investigated at three-loop order in perturbation theory.

Self-renormalization of quasi-light-front correlators on the lattice

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2021
In applying large-momentum effective theory, renormalization of the Euclidean correlators in lattice regularization is a challenge due to linear divergences in the self-energy of Wilson lines.

Asymptotic freedom and higher derivative gauge theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
The ultraviolet completion of gauge theories by higher derivative terms can dramatically change their behavior at high energies. The requirement of asymptotic freedom imposes very stringent constraints that are only satisfied by a small family of higher ...

Two-Loop Analysis of Non-abelian Chern-Simons Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Perturbative renormalization of a non-Abelian Chern-Simons gauge theory is examined. It is demonstrated by explicit calculation that, in the pure Chern-Simons theory, the beta-function for the coefficient of the Chern-Simons term vanishes to three loop ...

Universality in the Exact Renormalization Group: Comparison to Perturbation Theory

open access: yesUniverse, 2023
Various formulations of the exact renormalization group can be compared in the perturbative domain, in which we have reliable expressions for regularization-independent (universal) quantities.

Two-loop results on the renormalization of vacuum expectation values and infrared divergences in the FDH scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Recent progress in the understanding of vacuum expectation values and of infrared divergences in different regularization schemes is reviewed. Vacuum expectation values are gauge and renormalization-scheme dependent quantities.

Quantization of interacting Galilean field theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We present the quantum field description of Galilean electrodynamics minimally coupled to massless Galilean fermion in (3 + 1)-dimensions. At classical level, the Lagrangian is obtained as a null reduction of a relativistic theory in one higher dimension.
