Multiloop functional renormalization group for general models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We present multiloop flowequations in the functional renormalization group (fRG) framework for the four-point vertex and self-energy, formulated for a general fermionic many-body problem. This generalizes the previously introduced vertex flow [F.

Renormalization scheme dependence with renormalization group summation [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2015
We consider all radiative corrections to the total electron-positron cross section showing how the renormalization group equation can be used to sum the logarithmic contributions in two ways. First of all, one can sum leading-log etc. contributions. A second summation shows how all logarithmic corrections can be expressed in terms of log-independent ...

Determining Exciton Diffusion Length in Organic Semiconductors: Unifying Macro‐ and Microscopic Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Exciton diffusion length in organic semiconductor films is determined from encounter/annihilation rates. Non‐normalized exciton densities and proper intrinsic lifetime reference avoid over‐parametrization of the fits. Monte Carlo Simulation of individual molecule‐to‐molecule hops reproduce these results (②) when matching lattice constant and hoping ...

General scalar renormalisation group equations at three-loop order

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
For arbitrary scalar QFTs in four dimensions, renormalisation group equations of quartic and cubic interactions, mass terms, as well as field anomalous dimensions are computed at three-loop order in the MS ¯ $$ \overline{\mathrm{MS}} $$ scheme. Utilising

Higher order tensor renormalization group for relativistic fermion systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We apply the higher order tensor renormalization group to two and three dimensional relativistic fermion systems on the lattice. In order to perform a coarse-graining of tensor networks including Grassmann variables, we introduce Grassmann higher order ...

Suppressed Thermal Conductivity in van der Waals Semiconductor SnS2 by Stacking Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Achieving low thermal conductivity is crucial for materials used for thermoelectric energy conversion. It is demonstrated that the lattice thermal conductivity of van der Waals semiconductor SnS2 can be significantly reduced by introducing 2H and 4H structures stacked along the c‐axis.

A note on defect stability in d = 4 − ε

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We explore the space of scalar line, surface and interface defect field theories in d = 4 − ε by examining their stability properties under generic deformations.

Functional renormalization group flow of massive gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We apply the functional renormalization group equation to a massive Fierz–Pauli action in curved space and find that, even though a massive term is a modification in the infrared sector, the mass term modifies the value of the non-gaussian fixed point in

Quantum GraviElectro Dynamics

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, EarlyView.
The BRST invariant Lagrangian of the gravitationally interacting U(1)$U(1)$ gauge theory, namely the Quantum GraviElectro Dynamics (QGED). The Yan–Mills theory with the Hilbert–Einstein gravitational Lagrangian, namely the Yang–Mills–Utiyama (YMU) theory, is defined and quantised using the standard procedure. The theory is perturbatively renormalisable,
