Renormalization group therapy [PDF]
We point out a general problem with the procedures commonly used to obtain improved actions from MCRG decimated configurations. Straightforward measurement of the couplings from the decimated configurations, by one of the known methods, can result into actions that do not correctly reproduce the physics on the undecimated lattice.

Renormalization group and universality [PDF]
It is argued that universality is severely limited for models with multiple fixed points. As a demonstration the renormalization group equations are presented for the potential and the wave function renormalization constants in the $O(N)$ scalar field theory.

Renormalization Group and divergences [PDF]
Application of asymptotic freedom to the ultraviolet stability in Euclidean quantum field theories is revisited and illustrated through the hierarchical model making also use of a few technical developments that followed the original works of Wilson on the renormalization group.

Renormalization group flow in CDT [PDF]
We perform a first investigation of the coupling constant flow of the nonperturbative lattice model of four-dimensional quantum gravity given in terms of Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT). After explaining how standard concepts of lattice field theory can be adapted to the case of this background-independent theory, we define a notion of "lines of ...

Leading all-loop quantum contribution to the effective potential in general scalar field theory
The RG equation for the effective potential in the leading log (LL) approximation is constructed which is valid for an arbitrary scalar field theory in 4 dimensions.

ON SPECTRAL RENORMALIZATION GROUP [PDF]
The operator-theoretic renormalization group (RG) methods are powerful analytic tools to explore spectral properties of field-theoretical models such as quantum electrodynamics (QED) with non-relativistic matter. In this paper, these methods are extended and simplified.
