Matrix Stiffness Induces Endothelial Network Senescence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using a 3D human in vitro model that decouples mechanical stress from inflammatory or biochemical signals, matrix stiffening induces a senescence phenotype in endothelial networks. This mechano‐induced senescence activates Notch signaling, and pharmacologic Notch inhibition attenuates this stiffness‐induced senescence.

Visible‐Light‐Induced Carbon–Hydrogen Phosphonylation of Conjugated Polymers via Electron Donor–Acceptor Complex Activation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Electron donor–acceptor (EDA) complex activation enabled the efficient transformation of conjugated polymers. Compared with the small‐molecule model compound, the polymers reacted more efficiently, achieving quantitative conversion of PFO. This result demonstrates a new platform for incorporating conjugated polymers into EDA‐mediated photochemical ...
