Genome‐Wide CRISPR Screen Identifies a microRNA Orchestrating Pleiotropic Resistance to Targeted Therapy and T Cell Immunity in Melanoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.

Rent sharing as a driver of the glass ceiling effect [PDF]

open access: yesEconomics Letters, 2012
In this paper we show that rent sharing plays a role in explaining the glass ceiling effect. We make use of a unique employer-employee panel database for Italy from 1996 to 2003, which allows controlling for observed individual and firm heterogeneity and for collective bargaining.

HNRNPU K181 Lactylation Drives Cervical Cancer Growth by Upregulating PHGDH and Reprogramming Serine Metabolism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lactate in cervical cancer induces HNRNPU K181 lactylation, opposed by NAA50‐mediated acetylation and suppressed by Pazopanib. This lactylation enhances HNRNPU binding to PHGDH pre‐mRNA exon 1, maintaining exon 1‐containing transcripts and mRNA stability, thereby activating serine metabolism.

Targeting Dnmt3a/m5C/RelA Axis Attenuates Microglia Inflammatory Response and Improves Postoperative Recovery in Chronic Compressive Cervical Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pro‐inflammatory microglial subset persists after decompression in chronic compressive cervical spinal cord injury and shows enhanced Dnmt3a‐driven m5C signaling. By stabilizing RelA mRNA, this axis sustains NF‐κB activation and postoperative neuroinflammation.
