Global beef production: Trends, challenges, and opportunities for sustainable development
Abstract Sustainable livestock systems require managing trade‐offs and synergies across productive, socioeconomic, and environmental dimensions to meet rising global beef demand. We present a biophysical framework to analyze how management‐driven energy allocation is manifested through herd size and total and per‐head beef productivity.

PurposeAccurate arterial input functions (AIFs) are essential for quantitative dynamic contrast‐enhanced (DCE) MRI, yet direct measurement is challenging and population‐averaged AIFs neglect patient‐specific variability. Blind deconvolution provides an alternative by estimating patient‐specific AIFs directly from tissue data, up to a scale factor. This

ABSTRACT Rationale Dielectric barrier discharge ionisation (DBDI) in an active‐capillary configuration (including the commercial SICRIT source) is widely used as a soft, ambient‐pressure ionisation method for vapours and gases, yet the role of water vapour in controlling reagent ion chemistry and analytical behaviour has not been mechanistically ...

Orientations of Graphs With at Most One Directed Path Between Every Pair of Vertices
ABSTRACT Given a graph G, we say that an orientation D of G is a KT orientation if, for all u , v ∈ V ( D ), there is at most one directed path (in any direction) between u and v. Graphs that admit such orientations have been used to construct graphs with large chromatic number and small clique number that served as counterexamples to various ...
