Gonadotropin-releasing hormone improves conception rates of repeat-breeders with previous reproductive disorders [PDF]
An experiment examining the benefit of treating repeat-breeders with 100 µg GnRH (Cystorelin ®) at the time of third or fourth insemination was conducted in 513 dairy cows of which 93 (abnormal cows) had been diagnosed previously (during the 60 to 90 ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Plant-RRBS, a bisulfite and next-generation sequencing-based methylome profiling method enriching for coverage of cytosine positions [PDF]
Background: Cytosine methylation in plant genomes is important for the regulation of gene transcription and transposon activity. Genome-wide methylomes are studied upon mutation of the DNA methyltransferases, adaptation to environmental stresses or ...

A novel signature integrating genome‐wide analysis with clinical factors predicts recurrence in stage II colorectal cancer and enables a new risk stratification to guide postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy. Clinical risk stratification for postoperative recurrence in patients with pathological stage II (pStage II) colorectal cancer (CRC) is essential ...

Mitochondrial genetics of alloplasmic male-sterile Brassica napus lines [PDF]
Reliable and economical production of hybrid (F1) varieties requires efficient means to control pollination. The predominant system for pollination control of most field crops today is cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS).

REPEATABILITIES OF BREEDING PERFORMANCES AND CULLING THRESHOLDS IN FEMALE RABBITS [PDF]
The variability in the numerical productivity of the doe is very high (number of rabbits weaned per doe and year). We tried to estimate levels of production under which it is economically interesting to cull a doe in a meat production farm. The levels depend on the repeatability of the components of the numerical productivity.
