The authors study properties of the following economic model. ``We consider an infinite-horizon game played between a principal P and an agent A, time is discrete. The principal and the agent play the same stage game in every period. Each period the principal chooses whether or not to delegate a project adoption choice to the agent, i.e.

Abstract Chapter 51 reviews a technique for learning new information called retrieval practice. As the name implies, retrieval practice involves practicing the act of retrieval. This is done by calling to mind the information you are trying to learn, and doing this over and over again.

Abstract:Since 20% of patients with myocardial infarction (MI) have had a previous infarction, and reinfarction within one year after infarction occurs in 9% of cases, it is important to clarify the role of repeat thrombolysis. After streptokinase (SK) administration, IgG antibodies rise to a peak at two weeks and slowly fall over the next 12 months ...

Repeating Lies, Repeating Truths
2019This support paper seeks to analyze the potential of a new media arts practice in relationship to Second to Fourth Wave feminism discourse. Based on the works produced during my MFA studies at Emily Carr University, I investigate how a humanized representation of feminine subjectivity in media arts can operate a mind shift in the audience.

Subgame perfect equilibria of finitely repeated games are studied. A limit ''folk theorem'' is proved: under certain weak conditions, any feasible and individually rational payoff of the one-shot game can be approximated by the average payoff in a perfect equilibrium of a repeated game with a sufficiently long horizon.

AbstractDebate persists over the value of chromosome analysis of couples with repeated pregnancy loss. Therefore, we studied the records of all patients referred to the Genetics Division at Thomas Jefferson University for repeated pregnancy loss. Couples were divided into three groups according to the reason for evaluation.

The last two topical reviews focused on individual differences in the cognitive processes related to reading. The topic of this month's review is again reading, but the focus is on educational technology rather than individual differences. Dr. Moyer's paper makes at least two important contributions to the literature on remedial reading techniques ...

A review of 33 patients in whom repeat chemonucleolysis was performed in the period between 1979 and 1983 indicates satisfactory results in 24 patients for a 73% success rate. Immediate sensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis) were seen in three patients and all were successfully managed by appropriate medical therapy.
