The prediction of change in repertory grids
British Journal of Medical Psychology, 1982Several predictions relating to differential element and construct stability in repertory grids over time were investigated. Test‐retest data indicated significantly greater construct stability for high intensity or ‘constellatory’ constructs over a seven‐month period.

The Measurement of Consistency in Repertory Grids
British Journal of Psychiatry, 1972A Consistency of Relationship score for comparing two grids was proposed by Bannister in 1960, revised slightly in 1962 and again, more substantially, in 1966. The theory behind it is that schizophrenic thought disorder results from repeated experiences of invalidation in construing.

A Repertory Grid Method of Studying Groups
British Journal of Psychiatry, 1970A repertory grid is obtained when a person compares and rates a set of ‘elements' in terms of an appropriate set of ‘constructs', using a consistent procedure throughout (Slater, 1964). The elements may be the names of real or imaginary people, qualities, or activities, in fact any group of items to all of which each construct is logically applicable.
