On the Stability of CSS under the Replicator Dynamic [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper considers a two-player game with a one-dimensional continuous strategy. We study the asymptotic stability of equilibria under the replicator dynamic when the support of the initial population is an interval.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Why Imitate, and if so, How? Exploring a Model of Social Evolution [PDF]

open access: yes
In consectutive rounds, each agent in a finite population chooses an action, is randomly matched, obtains a payoff and then observes the performance of another agent.

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

A Distributed Mode Selection Approach Based on Evolutionary Game for Device-to-Device Communications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
As one of the key technologies for the fifth generation (5G) mobile networks, device-todevice (D2D) communications offer promising benefits such as high spectrum efficiency, traffic offloading, and enhanced coverage.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Evolutionary Game of Medical Knowledge Sharing Among Chinese Hospitals Under Government Regulation

open access: yesSystems
This study investigates the evolutionary game dynamics of medical knowledge sharing (KS) among Chinese hospitals under government regulation, focusing on the strategic interactions between general hospitals, community health service centers, and ...

The More You Know, the More You Can Grow: An Information Theoretic Approach to Growth in the Information Age

open access: yesEntropy, 2017
In our information age, information alone has become a driver of social growth. Information is the fuel of “big data” companies, and the decision-making compass of policy makers.

Replicator Dynamics and Correlated Equilibrium: Elimination of All Strategies in the Support of Correlated Equilibria [PDF]

open access: yes
Nous donnons un exemple de jeu pour lequel, sous la dynamique des réplicateurs et pour un ensemble ouvert de conditions initiales, toutes les stratégies jouées en équilibre corrélé sont éliminées.
