Deflux Calcification Leading to Delayed Obstruction and Loss of Renal Function: A Case Report
Urology, 2022Dextranomer/hyaluronic acid (Deflux) has been widely used in the treatment of vesicoureteral reflux in the pediatric population. Grossly Delayed Graft Function in a Living Related Kidney Transplant Recipient: A Case Report
Transplantation Proceedings, 2008Delayed graft function is a potentially challenging problem especially in cadaveric kidney transplant recipients. It adversely impacts long-term graft survival. It is rarely seen in living kidney transplants. Recovery of graft function usually occurs within a month. The chances of recovery of graft function diminish with further prolongation of delayed

We report the case of a patient who experienced anuric renal transplant failure for 44 days after living related kidney transplantation. Immunosuppressive and other therapies were carefully adapted to the findings of frequent renal transplant biopsies, which ultimately led to excellent graft function.
