Abstract We present a case of a 68-year-old woman with dialysis dependent acute kidney injury secondary to multiple myeloma. The treatment consisted of plasma exchange, 10 sessions of high-cut-off hemodialysis and induction chemotherapy. Free light chain concentration (FLC) was reduced from 1900 mg/l to 584 mg/l (a 70% reduction).
