Thermoelectric Modules Incorporating MgAgSb and Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 Synthesized Using a Melting Method
A scalable synthesis method for a thermoelectric material of MgAgSb is established. A thermoelectric power module of MgAgSb/Mg3(Sb,Bi)2 is fabricated, showing the conversion efficiency of 7.4% at ΔT = 315 K. The performance is comparable to conventional Bi2Te3 modules when they are operated with an air‐cooled heat exchanger.

Quasirandom and quasisimple groups
Quasirandom and quasisimple groups, Discrete Analysis 2025:21, 24 pp. A quasirandom family of groups is a sequence of finite groups $(G_n)$ such that the smallest dimension of a non-trivial irreducible representation of $G_n$ tends to infinity with $n$.

Four‐point bending tests are conducted in an argon atmosphere on commercial MgO‐C brick grades with and without MgO‐C recyclate from room temperature up to 1300 °C. No detrimental effect of the MgO‐C recyclates on bending strength is found. Instead, a decisive influence of the total carbon content is observed, with lower total carbon contents ...

The work demonstrates that strategic wall‐thickness grading in diamond triply periodic minimal surface lattices enables precise tuning of deformation and failure behavior under compression. Different gradation patterns guide how and where the structure collapses, improving energy absorption or promoting controlled brittle failure.

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

A note on the Stiefel-Whitney classses of representations of exceptional Lie groups
One considers the following real representations of the compact connected simple exceptional Lie groups of rank \(\ell\) \((\ell= 6,7,8)\): \[ \begin{aligned} \rho_6:E_6 &\hookrightarrow U(27)\to SO(54),\\ \rho_7: E_7 &\hookrightarrow U(56)\to SO(112),\\ \rho_7': E_7 &\to SO(133),\\ \rho_8: E_8 &\to SO(248),\end{aligned} \] where \(\rho_7'\) and ...
