Machine Learning Discovery of Record‐Low Lattice Thermal Conductivity in Double Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A deep learning interatomic potential is introduced to predict forces for computing phonon properties and thermal transport behavior in double perovskites. Screening 9,709 compounds identifies 1,597 stable materials, and Boltzmann transport calculations including both three and four‐phonon scattering suggests a record‐low lattice thermal conductivity ...

Depletion of the RNA‐Editing Enzyme ADAR1 Invigorates the Antitumor Immunity of NK Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ADAR1 is upregulated in NK cells from melanoma patients, impairing their function. Its loss enhances NK cell tumor infiltration and cytotoxicity in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, ADAR1 deficiency destabilizes CD38 mRNA to reduce its expression, thereby increasing NK cell mobility and killing, which nominates it as a therapeutic target for NK cell ...

A Soft, Flexible Implant for Wireless Photothermal–Pyroelectric Neurostimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A replication strategy is used to enlarge the exposed surface area of barium titanate within flexible films with embedded carbon nanotubes, enabling efficient photothermal‐pyroelectric stimulation. Polar crystalline nanosheets show superior performance in guiding neural progenitor cells toward neuronal differentiation.
