On the Self-Dual Representations of Finite Groups of Lie Type
The author presents various results on self-dual irreducible complex representations of a finite group \(G\) of Lie type, motivated in part by known related results in the theory of representations of semisimple algebraic groups. In the context of finite groups, the self-dual irreducible representations are those with real-valued character.

Let \(G\) be a finite group of Lie type in prime characteristic \(p\). In the study of the representations of \(G\), the unipotent elements of \(G\) have special importance. This paper is mainly concerned with the rationality properties of the unipotent elements. By this, we mean the following. Let \(u\) be a unipotent element of \(G\), in other words,

Micropatterned Biphasic Printed Electrodes for High‐Fidelity on‐Skin Bioelectronics
Micropatterned biphasic printed electrodes achieve unprecedented skin conformity and low impedance by combining liquid‐metal droplets with microstructured 3D lattices. This scalable approach enables high‐fidelity detection of ECG, EMG, and EEG signals, including alpha rhythms from the forehead, with long‐term comfort and stability.

Growth of cross-characteristic representations of finite quasisimple groups of Lie type
In this paper we give a bound to the number of conjugacy classes of maximal subgroups of any almost simple group whose socle is a classical group of Lie type. The bound is $2n^{5.2}+n\log_2\log_2 q$, where $n$ is the dimension of the classical socle and $q$ is the size of the defining field.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Positive‐Tone Nanolithography of Antimony Trisulfide with Femtosecond Laser Wet‐Etching
A butyldithiocarbamic acid (BDCA) etchant is used to fabricate various micro‐ and nanoscale structures on amorphous antimony trisulfide (a‐Sb2S3) thin film via femtosecond laser etching. Numerical analysis and experimental results elucidate the patterning mechanism on gold (reflective) and quartz (transmissive) substrates.

Large Anomalous and Topological Hall Effect and Nernst Effect in a Dirac Kagome Magnet Fe3Ge
Fe3Ge, a Kagome‐lattice magnet, exhibits remarkable anomalous Hall and Nernst effects, with transverse thermoelectric conductivity surpassing or comaprable to some well‐known ferromagnets. First‐principles calculations attribute these to Berry curvature from massive Dirac gaps. Additionally, topological Hall and Nernst signals emerge from field‐induced

Clean‐Limit 2D Superconductivity in a Thick Exfoliated Kagome Film
This study reports clean‐limit 2D superconductivity in a thick kagome system, analogous to the 3D case. It observes a drop in superfluid stiffness near the superconducting transition and a cusp‐like feature in the angular dependence of the upper critical field.
