Reproducing Kernels and Interpolation of Holomorphic Functions
1986Abstract The problem of characterizing restrictions to small sets of holomorphic functions satisfying certain norm estimates, is studied from the point of view of functional Hilbert spaces and reproducing kernels. Characterizations are obtained for boundary value distributions of various Hilbert spaces of holomorphic functions along certain thin ...

Generalized Reproducing Kernels and Generalized Delta Functions
2017In this paper, we shall state a simple and general meaning for reproducing kernels. We would like to answer a general and essential question that: what are reproducing kernels? By considering this basic problem, we were able to obtain a general concept of the generalized delta function as a generalized reproducing kernel and, as a general reproducing ...

Positive Definite Functions and Kernels, and Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces
2015Positive definite kernels (and the associated reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces) play an important role in various fields in mathematics, and Dieudonne’s judgment is very harsh, and somewhat unjustified. Besides representation theory and harmonic analysis, they appear in function theory (the kernel function associated with a domain), in stochastic ...

Reproducing Kernel Functions for Sard Spaces of Type B
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1974Optimal approximation in Hilbert spaces can be found if the space has a reproducing kernel function and if this kernel can be obtained in closed form. This paper contains the reproducing kernel function for the general Sard spaces of the type B. A numerical illustration of optimal approximation for a “nonstandard” Hilbert space is given.

The Functions of a Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space
2015The functions of an RKHS, that is, the signals one works with, may not be easy to handle per se. In those cases, it may sometimes be useful to know that they belong to spaces in which computation may be easier, such as L2 spaces. This chapter deals with such questions.
