Single nucleotide polymorphism markers linked to root elongation rate in sugar beet

open access: yesBiologia Plantarum, 2017
The aim of this study was to identify single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers genetically linked to root elongation rate (RER) in sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.). A population of 244 F3 individuals, obtained from the cross between lines L01 (a low RER)

Die thermische Analyse binrer und ternrer Legierungen [PDF]

open access: yesZeitschrift fr Physik, 1921

Development of Auer bodies from giant inclusions associated with rough endoplasmic reticulum in acute promyelocytic leukemia

open access: yesBlood Science, 2023
Giant inclusions and Auer bodies in promyeloblasts were investigated in a study which included transmission electron microscopy (TEM) for morphology and ultrastructural cytochemistry for myeloperoxidase in 10 patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia ...

Steht IPSAS im Widerspruch zur Finanzpolitik? Fallbeispiel Public Private Partnership zur Bedeutung von IPSAS für eine nachhaltige Finanzpolitik

open access: yesYearbook of Swiss Administrative Sciences, 2010
Some Swiss experts argue that there are conflicting goals between IPSAS and fiscal policy. Switzerland uses additional depreciation, besides the amount depreciated on a systematic basis over useful life, in order to balance the income statement. For this

Validity of Reporting Oxygen Uptake Efficiency Slope from Submaximal Exercise Using Respiratory Exchange Ratio as Secondary Criterion

open access: yesPulmonary Medicine, 2012
Background. Oxygen uptake efficiency slope (OUES) is a reproducible, objective marker of cardiopulmonary function. OUES is reported as being relatively independent of exercise intensity.

Assessing the discriminative ability of the respiratory exchange ratio to detect hyperlactatemia during intermediate-to-high risk abdominal surgery

open access: yesBMC Anesthesiology, 2022
Background A mismatch between oxygen delivery (DO2) and consumption (VO2) is associated with increased perioperative morbidity and mortality. Hyperlactatemia is often used as an early screening tool, but this non-continuous measurement requires ...

Dysfunctional TRIM31 of POMC Neurons Provokes Hypothalamic Injury and Peripheral Metabolic Disorder under Long‐Term Fine Particulate Matter Exposure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Particulate matter ≤2.5 µm (PM2.5) elevates risks of neurological and chronic metabolic diseases, but the underlying mechanisms linking PM2.5‐induced central nervous system (CNS) injury to metabolic dysfunction remain unclear. Hypothalamic pro‐opiomelanocortin‐expressing (POMC+) neurons regulate systemic metabolic homeostasis, and tripartite motif ...
