The Redistributive Effects of Political Reservation for Minorities: Evidence from India [PDF]

open access: yes
We examine the impact of political reservation for disadvantaged minority groups on poverty. To address the concern that political reservation is endogenous in the relationship between poverty and reservation, we take advantage of the state-time ...

Biomimetic Copper Nanoparticles Coated with ACE2‐Overexpressing Membranes for Selective SARS‐CoV‐2 Neutralization and Disinfection

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
By fusing ACE2‐overexpressing membrane‐integrated liposome (MIL) with copper nanoparticles, the biomimetic Cu@MIL nanostructures were created that directly hijack the SARS‐CoV‐2 entry pathway. These particles combine potent virus‐targeting precision with intrinsic antiviral activity, achieving rapid neutralization and disinfection.

The Gender Reservation Wage Gap: Evidence form British Panel Data [PDF]

open access: yes
Our findings suggest the existence of a gender reservation wage gap. The presence of children, particularly pre-school age children, plays an important role in determining the proportion of this gap that can be explained by individual characteristics ...

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...

Exploring the link between employment search time and reservation wages in Southern Europe [PDF]

open access: yes
In our piece of work we are facing a two-fold problem: on the one hand, we study the behaviour of job seekers and the extent to which reservation wages and unemployment benefits play a relevant role in the transition into working life. On the other hand,

Respiratory Organ‐on‐a‐Chip for Disease Modeling: From Architecture to Functional Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Respiratory organ‐on‐a‐chip (ROC) models capture key mechanical and cellular cues of the human respiratory system, enabling quantitative dissection of disease mechanisms. This review links ROC architectures to disease modeling, functional integration, and commercialization, and proposes a decision framework that aligns model complexity with mechanistic
