Assessment of groundwater quality and hydrogeochemical properties in the adrar continental intercalaire aquifer of the Algerian Sahara

open access: yesApplied Water Science
Adrar, located in an arid desert environment in southwest Algeria, relies exclusively on groundwater from the Continental Intercalaire aquifer for its water supply.

Biomimetic Nanovaccine Integrating Dendritic Cell Exosomes with Tumor Cell Membranes for Sustained Prophylaxis Against Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We have developed DEX/GM, an all‐natural, personalizable hybrid vaccine designed by coating dendritic cell‐derived exosomes (DEX) onto tumor cell membranes (GM) for sustained prophylaxis against glioblastoma (GBM). ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM), one of the most aggressive and lethal brain tumors, remains incurable with a poor clinical prognosis.

Reducing Environmental Impacts on Water and Health through Well Lining and Cementing in the Algerian Desert

open access: yesRevue des Énergies Renouvelables
The processes of casing installation and well cementing are fundamental techniques for minimizing the environmental impacts of oil and gas operations on water resources and public health, particularly within the sensitive desert ecosystems of southern ...

Slow to fast infinitely extended reservoirs for the symmetric exclusion process with long jumps

open access: yes, 2017
We consider an exclusion process with long jumps in the box $\Lambda\_N=\{1, \ldots,N-1\}$, for $N \ge 2$, in contact with infinitely extended reservoirs on its left and on its right.

Dual‐Layer Living Hydrogel Enables On‐Demand Delivery of Phages and Probiotics for Synergistic Wound Infection Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐layer living hydrogel, ProΦGel, integrates bacteriophages and probiotics for synergistic wound infection therapy. The outer gelatin‐based matrix releases phages on demand in response to P. aeruginosa infections, while inner alginate beads sustain probiotic delivery.

Facies and porosity origin of reservoirs: Case studies from the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation of Sichuan Basin, China, and their implications on reservoir prediction

open access: yesJournal of Natural Gas Geoscience, 2018
The dolostone of the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation has been a significant gas exploration area in Sichuan Basin. In Gaoshiti-Moxi regions, a giant gas pool with thousands of billion cubic meters' reserve has been discovered.

Temperature‐Modulated Threshold Response in a Volatile Memristor: Toward a Biomimetic Polymodal Nociceptive System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates an artificial polymodal nociceptor whose firing threshold is actively modulated by temperature. A volatile TiN/TiOx/ZnO/TiOx/ITO memristor shows interfacial ion–driven resistive switching and membrane‐potential‐like dynamics, enabling temperature‐dependent nociceptive behavior.
