A Study on the Characteristics of Korean Residents in Japan
Journal of Multi-Cultural Contents Studies, 2018일본 영화에서 재일조선인이 재현되는 방식은 중층적이다. 일본 사회에서 그들을 인식하는 시선과 재일조선인 스스로가 자신들을 자각하는 시선이 얽혀 있기 때문이다. 그렇기 때문에 오히려 이들의 시선을 현재진행형이며 문제적이다. 1990년대 이후 일본 영화는 다양소재를 다루기 시작했고, 이에 따라 사회적 소수집단들에 대한 이야기 역시 이전의 시기에 비해 비교적 많이 등장하기 시작했고 재일조선인 역시 이 무렵부터 일본의 상업 영화 속에서 본격 재현되기 시작했다. 이 글에서는 일본대중영화에서 서사되는 재일조선인의 캐릭터와 내러티브에 대해 초점을 맞춰 분석해 보고자 한다.
