Exploring an Alternative to mRNA Vaccine Cold Chain Storage: MRNA‐Lipid Nanoparticle Stability When Dried in a Polymer Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Coupled CFD-DEM simulation of fluids and bubbles in a stirring tank

open access: yesAIP Advances
The multiphase flow within a stirring tank predominantly exhibits complex turbulent motion, characterized by nonlinear and intricate interactions among different fluids. By treating the gas–liquid two-phase flow as a “fluid particle” system, we conducted

Shape Memory Microneedle to Prevent Risks of Reproductive Hormone Therapy by Switching Sustained to Burst Release Under a Single Transdermal Insertion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A shape‐memory microneedle system enables reproductive hormone therapy through a single transdermal insertion. The X‐shaped device sustains follicle‐stimulating hormone release for three days, and mild heating restores the O shape to trigger burst human chorionic gonadotropin release.
