ANN modeling and residual analysis on screening efficiency of coal in vibrating screen

International Journal of Coal Preparation and Utilization, 2021
In this paper, coal screening in vibrating screen was carried out with the size ranges of −6 mm + 4 mm, −4 mm + 2 mm, and −2 mm + 0.5 mm. The vibrating screen was newly designed with flexibility in angle and frequency.

Pyrotechnic Residues in Gunshot Residue Analysis

Proceedings, annual meeting, Electron Microscopy Society of America, 1985
Particle analysis by scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive x- ray analysis is one of the current methods used in crime laboratories to aid law enforcement in identifying individuals who have recently fired or handled a firearm. During the discharge of a firearm, the high pressure caused by the detonation of the cartridge materials forces ...

Residue Analysis

2019
Residue analysis, as used in archaeology, is a generic term used to describe the characterisation of traces of organic products from the past. This chapter is concerned with organic residues that are commonly encountered bound to, adhered to or absorbed within a mineral artefact, such as a ceramic vessel or a stone tool.

A Comprehensive Framework for Residual Analysis in Regression and Machine Learning

Journal of Information Systems Engineering & Management
Residual analysis is one of the most crucial methodologies in statistical modeling and machine learning. Generally, it tends to be an important tool in the evaluation of the precision of a model, diagnosing violations of assumptions, and refinement. This

Open-Circuit Fault Diagnosis of Dual Active Bridge DC-DC Converter Based on Residual Analysis

IEEE Power Engineering and Automation Conference, 2018
A fast open-circuit fault diagnosis method based on residual analysis is proposed for a dual active bridge (DAB) DC-DC converter in this paper. The proposed method uses the magnetic component voltage and the primary-side current for fault diagnosis.

FEM analysis of thermal and residual stress profile in selective laser melting of 316L stainless steel

, 2021
High temperature gradients and resulting large residual stresses are among the most challenging areas of selective laser melting. In order to control these issues, proper understanding of the influence of process parameters on thermal as well as residual
