Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Residual displacements‘ progresive analysis of the multisupported beam

open access: yesMokslas – Lietuvos ateitis / Science – Future of Lithuania
This paper focuses on a shakedown behaviour of the ideally elasto-plastic beams system under variable repeated load. The mathematical models of the analysis problems are created using numerical methods, extremum energy principles and mathematic programming. It is shown that during the shakedown process the residual displacements vary non-monotonically.

Comparative study on CO2-oil, water-oil two-phase and CO2-water-oil three-phase displacement experiments

open access: yesYouqi dizhi yu caishoulu
To address the challenges of mobilizing residual oil and ensuring the stability of CO2 sequestration in high-water-cut reservoirs, based on CT scans of real sandstone, etching patterns were constructed and used to fabricate glass-etched micromodels.

Experimental Study and Life Prediction of Bolt Loosening Life under Variable Amplitude Vibration

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2019
The transverse vibration test of bolts has been designed with adoption of the fatigue tester to study the features of the loosening life of bolts. Firstly, the transverse vibration frequency has been changed, the effects of the amplitudes of displacement,

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Finite element analysis of the effect of residual lateral wall volume on postoperative stability in intertrochanteric fractures

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research
Background Lateral wall fractures represent crucial risk factors for postoperative internal fixation failure in intertrochanteric femoral fractures. However, no consensus exists on the type of lateral wall fracture requiring interventional management ...

Occurrence State and Time-Shift Characteristics of Residual Oil in Low-Permeability Reservoirs After Long-Term Waterflooding in Changqing Oilfield

open access: yesEnergies
This study focuses on a low-permeability sandstone reservoir in the Changqing Oilfield, aiming to elucidate the formation mechanism and occurrence state of residual oil during late-stage waterflooding development, thereby providing theoretical guidance ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Microscopic oil displacement and multi-medium displacement mechanisms in ultra-low-permeability high-pour-point oil reservoirs

open access: yesYouqicang pingjia yu kaifa
Ultra-low-permeability high-pour-point oil reservoirs are characterized by the “three highs” of high pour point, high viscosity at low temperature, and high wax content, which hinder fluid seepage, result in low oil recovery efficiency, and lead to ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
