, 2021 La producción anual de plásticos derivados de petróleo alcanza en Argentina un valor de 1.650.410 toneladas. Entre los principales materiales producidos encontramos en primer lugar, al polietileno (PE) con un 40% del total del mercado. Del total producido, alrededor del 30% es reciclado, el 70% restante se dispone en rellenos sanitarios o en basurales.
