Flavonoids isolated from Draconis Resina

Natural Product Research, 2007
One new chalcone, 4,6-dihydroxy-2-methoxy-3-methyldihydrochalcone (4), together with four known compounds, dammaradienol (1), (-)-5-methoxyflavan-7-ol (2), 5-methoxy-6-methyl-2-phenyl-7H-chromen-7-one (3), and dracorhodin (5), were isolated from Draconis Resina. The structures of these compounds were determined by spectral methods.

Cladosporium carrionii and Hormoconis resinae ( C. resinae ): Cell Wall and Melanin Studies

Current Microbiology, 1996
Two phaeoid strains of the fungus Cladosporium carrionii (SR3 from a xerophyte species and PP8201 from a patient), and one strain of Hormoconis resinae (Cladosporium resinae), isolated from oil-impregnated soil, were analyzed for their cell wall composition by colorimetric methods, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and solid-state 13C-nuclear ...

New terpenoids from Resina Commiphora

Fitoterapia, 2017
Three new eudesmane sesquiterpenoids, commiphoranes E1-E3 (1-3), a new podocarpane diterpenoid, commiphorane F (4), three new triterpenoids, commiphoranes G1-G3 (5-7), and fourteen known terpenoids (8-21) were isolated from Resina Commiphora. The structures and relative configurations of new compounds were mainly assigned by spectroscopic methods.

Production of biosurfactants by Cladosporium resinae

Biotechnology Letters, 1996
Cladosporium resinae produces extracellular biosurfactants when growing in a hydrocarbon source such as the jet fuel JP8. This production of biosurfactants was observed by the reduction of the surface tension of the aqueous phase of growing medium, and by the increase in emulsion and foaming properties.
