On generalized Yosida inclusion problem with application
Herein, a generalized Yosida inclusion problem involving Φ-relaxed co-accretive mapping is investigated. The resolvent and analogous generalized Yosida approximation operator is explicated and its characteristics are outlined.

Resonances and lower resolvent bounds [PDF]
We show how the presence of resonances close to the real axis implies exponential lower bounds on the norm of the cut-off resolvent on the real axis.

Very recently, Ahmad and Yao (2009) introduced and considered a system of generalized resolvent equations with corresponding system of variational inclusions in uniformly smooth Banach spaces.

The resolvent operator approach is applied to address a system of generalized ordered variational inclusions with ⊕ operator in real ordered Banach space. With the help of the resolvent operator technique, Li et al. (J. Inequal. Appl.

About the Resolvent Kernel of Neutral Linear Fractional System with Distributed Delays
The present work considers the initial problem (IP) for a linear neutral system with derivatives in Caputo’s sense of incommensurate order, distributed delay and various kinds of initial functions.

A Complete Review of the General Quartic Equation with Real Coefficients and Multiple Roots
This paper presents a general analysis of all the quartic equations with real coefficients and multiple roots; this analysis revealed some unknown formulae to solve each kind of these equations and some precisions about the relation between these ones ...

Acoustic resolvent analysis of turbulent jets
International audienceWe perform a resolvent analysis of a compressible turbulent jet, where the optimisation domain of the response modes is located in the acoustic field, excluding the hydrodynamic region, in order to promote acoustically efficient ...

On One Method of Studying Spectral Properties of Non-selfadjoint Operators
In this paper, we explore a certain class of Non-selfadjoint operators acting on a complex separable Hilbert space. We consider a perturbation of a nonselfadjoint operator by an operator that is also nonselfadjoint.

ON RESOLVING SINGULARITIES [PDF]
Let V be an irreducible affine algebraic variety over a field k of characteristic zero, and let (f_0,...,f_m) be a sequence of elements of the coordinate ring. There is probably no elementary condition on the f_i and their derivatives which determines whether the blowup of V along (f_0,...,f_m) is nonsingular. The result is that there indeed is such an

Completeness-Resolvable Graphs [PDF]
Given a connected graph $G=(V(G), E(G))$, the length of a shortest path from a vertex $u$ to a vertex $v$ is denoted by $d(u,v)$. For a proper subset $W$ of $V(G)$, let $m(W)$ be the maximum value of $d(u,v)$ as $u$ ranging over $W$ and $v$ ranging over $V(G)\setminus W$. The proper subset $W=\{w_1,\ldots,w_{|W|}\}$ is a {\em completeness-resolving set}
