Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Resolvent approaches to elliptic regularity in stationary Fokker–Planck equations

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
This paper investigates the local regularity of solutions to stationary Fokker–Planck equations on an open set U⊂Rd $U\subset {\mathbb{R}}^{d}$ with d ≥ 2.

Approximation of eigenvalues of some unbounded self-adjoint discrete Jacobi matrices by eigenvalues of finite submatrices [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2007
We investigate the problem of approximation of eigenvalues of some self-adjoint operator in the Hilbert space \(l^2(\mathbb{N})\) by eigenvalues of suitably chosen principal finite submatrices of an infinite Jacobi matrix that defines the operator ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Fuzzy Multi-dimensional Analysis and Resolution Operation [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Science Journal of Moldova, 1999
In this paper a new original approach to the analysis of fuzzy multi- dimensional distributions is described. A uniform method for representing fuzzy multi-dimensional distributions by means of sectioned vectors and matrices is proposed. Sectioned matrix

Single‐cell DNA methylation profiling: Technologies, computation, and applications in precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

The resolvent and expected local times for Markov-modulated Brownian motion with phase-dependent termination rates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We consider a Markov-modulated Brownian motion (MMBM) with phase-dependent termination rates, i.e. while in a phase i the process terminates with a constant hazard rate ri ? 0.

Resolvent of matrix polynomials, pseudospecrta and inversion problems

open access: yes, 2002
Summary: The author deals with a mathematical model for dynamical systems described by \(n\) ordinary differential equations of order \(m\) with constant coefficients. The formulae for resolvents of matrix polynomials (\(\lambda\)-matrices) and for ``derivative resolvents'' corresponding to the time differentiation as well as their differentiation with

Targeting transcription factors associated with hemoglobinopathies: Lessons from successful interventions and implications for cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the transcription factors, repressive chromatin‐modifying complexes, and epigenetic mechanisms that control fetal hemoglobin repression. Notably, many regulators of γ‐globin silencing also function in transcriptional and epigenetic networks that drive cancer, highlighting opportunities to translate advances in hemoglobinopathy ...

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.
