Mid-range adiabatic wireless energy transfer via a mediator coil
A technique for efficient mid-range wireless energy transfer between two coils via a mediator coil is proposed. By varying the coil frequencies three resonances are created: emitter-mediator (EM), mediator-receiver (MR) and emitter-receiver (ER).

Active and reactive power in stochastic resonance for energy harvesting [PDF]
A power allocation to active and reactive power in stochastic resonance is discussed for energy harvesting from mechanical noise. It is confirmed that active power can be increased at stochastic resonance, in the same way of the relationship between ...

Resonance refraction and neutrino oscillations
The refraction index and matter potential depend on neutrino energy and this dependence has a resonance character associated to the production of the mediator in the s−channel.

Polarized Magnetic Wire Induced by Tunneling Through a Magnetic Impurity [PDF]
Using the zero mode method we compute the conductance of a wire consisting of a magnetic impurity coupled to two Luttinger liquid leads characterized by the Luttinger exponent $\alpha(\leq 1)$.

The glycine-rich RNA-binding protein, AtGrp7, is a component of a negative feedback loop in the circadian clock regulation of Arabidopsis thaliana. In our initial purification trial of the tobacco etch virus (TEV)-cleaved AtGrp7 RNA recognition motif ...

Analysis of Narrow s-channel Resonances at Lepton Colliders
The procedures for studying a single narrow s-channel resonance or nearly degenerate resonances at a lepton collider, especially a muon collider, are discussed.

An effective theory of Feshbach resonances and many-body properties of Fermi gases
For calculating low-energy properties of a dilute gas of atoms interacting via a Feshbach resonance, we develop an effective theory in which the parameters that enter are an atom-molecule coupling strength and the magnetic moment of the molecular ...

Resonant Enhancement of Turbulent Energy Dissipation [PDF]
We periodically modulate a turbulent wind-tunnel flow with an active grid. We find a resonant enhancement of the mean turbulent dissipation rate at a modulation frequency which equals the large-eddy turnover rate. Thus, we find the best frequency to inject energy into a turbulent flow. The resonant response is characterized by the emergence of vortical
