Frequency analysis of mechanical resonance in direct drive

2012 12th IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Motion Control (AMC), 2012
This paper presents analysis of mechanical resonance in direct drive servo-mechanical systems. For this purpose frequency analysis was used. Motor speed signal was analysed by Fourier transform to find mechanical resonance frequencies. Presented methods were verified by simulation.

Extended fundamental frequency analysis of the LCC resonant converter

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2003
Fundamental frequency techniques are used to analyze the series-parallel resonant converter under heavy load conditions, both with a continuous, but distorted parallel capacitor voltage waveform, and with a discontinuous capacitor voltage waveform. The analysis is validated with results from an experimental prototype.

Resonant Frequency Analysis of the Tibia as a Measure of Fracture Healing

Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, 1993
The Resonant Frequency (RF) of the tibia is proportional to its stiffness. As a fractured tibia heals, its RF should increase. The RF was serially determined in 74 fractured tibias (205 examinations). These were subdivided by fracture location and fixation.

A numerical analysis of a periodic resonant structure at GHz frequencies

2017 Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium - Fall (PIERS - FALL), 2017
We discuss results obtained through the numerical modeling of planar arrays of passive dipoles functioning as resonators designed for THz frequencies. An important task within the designing process is to set up the relevant working frequencies; this phase depends on the dimensions and material properties, which have to match the given frequencies in ...

Analysis of the effects of mounting stresses on the resonant frequency of crystal resonators

Proceedings of International Frequency Control Symposium, 2002
A general finite element method has been developed for the analysis of the effects of thermally induced mounting stresses on the resonant frequency of crystal resonators. The present study analyzes this behavior using a finite element model to obtain an accurate description of the thermal stresses and deformations in a crystal plate that has been ...

Resonance frequency analysis: Comparing two clinical instruments

Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, 2018
AbstractBackgroundNumerous studies indicate implants placed immediately after extraction or with minimally invasive procedures have excellent long‐term success and survival rates. There is general agreement that implants must be stable after implant placement.

Resonant Frequency Stability Analysis of Dielectric Resonators with Tuning Mechanisms

1987 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 1987
The Finite Element Method is applied to calculate the resonant frequency stability and the quality factor of dielectric resonators with tuning mechanisms. The resonant frequency temperature dependence is studied as a function of the tuning. Results for with metal cylindrical and ring resonators tuned and dielectric screws are included.

In vitro comparative analysis of two resonance frequency measurement devices: Osstell implant stability coefficient and Penguin resonance frequency analysis

Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, 2019
AbstractAdequate implant stability is an essential requirement. The introduction of the Penguin resonance frequency analysis raises some questions regarding its reliability, reproducibility, and repeatability as well as how it compares to the older Osstell device.PurposeTo assess the newer Penguin implant stability coefficient (ISQ) device (vs the ...

Macromodels in the frequency domain analysis of microwave resonators

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2004
We present a new technique of incorporating macromodels into the frequency domain formulation of grid based methods. Unlike previous methods, the new scheme does not introduce any frequency dependent elements into the system matrix and thus can be used in the analysis of resonator problems. Numerical results show an increase in accuracy of computations

FDTD Analysis for TE Mode Resonant Frequency of Anisotropic Circular Dielectric Resonator

TENCON 2019 - 2019 IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON), 2019
It is well-known that the resonant frequency is one of essential parameters for dielectric resonator in which it is usually determined by dielectric properties of material. Therefore, the analysis of its resonant frequency is becoming important stage upon the implementation.
